Sometimes you only want to make cuts in a small area.
Whatever the reason, you'll eventually need to know how to make a stop-cut.
A Stop-Cut is any cut that begins or ends in the middle of a part. If you do it right, noon will ever know you made those extra cuts. If you do it wrong, you'll be left behind with tiny bits of tear-out, small gouges, or dents in your work.
This week's 2-1/2 minute video shows you how a small adjustment in the angle of your spokeshave can ease you into the practice of making smooth, clean Stop-Cuts.
